I know right, it's just a dish-washing device, but seriously it is an awesome dish-washing device. If you have ever tried to use dish scrubbers with a handle, you are probably familiar with the following situation. Most scrubbers make you fill the soap reservoir through the button that you push to dispense soap. This usually leads to 1. You getting soap all over the stupid thing when you try to fill it up 2. You don't fill it up all the way 3. It leaks out from the button/ fill hole all the freaking time. 4. The button is either super hard to push or doesn't dispense any soap when pushed. This product fixes all of that. Instead of filling up the soap reservoir from the button, you fill it up from the very top of the handle which screws off to reveal the fill-port. This makes it so that you can fill it all the way up and when you are done, it doesn't leak, the back of the handle never just accidentally falls off like the button did on all my other scrubbers. The button itself to dispense soap is easy to push, actually dispenses soap and has a very high quality super-seal around it so that soap never leaks from the button. If pushed properly, you can actually get this thing to shoot soap several inches. No more guessing if you actually got any soap on those bristles. Product just works. I bought one of these for my work kitchen, and since it was company money, price didn't really matter. I looked for one that seemed to be the best quality. When this came, I was so blown away by it, that I instantly ordered a new one for my house. My wife scoffed at me, but when it got here, she realized that I made the best buying decision ever. Now, all power in the relationship has returned to me, and I control the money now. If you want to win your marriage, buy this.
Our family love these brushes. They aren't a sponge, so they're Teflon safe (most sponges will scratch off the Teflon, which will make Teflon pans leach chemicals into your food). Plus they don't hold in as much bacteria as traditional sponges (on average, sponges are so moist that they contain more bacteria than your toilet seat). I'm kind of a clean freak and have slowly converted most of our extended family to the benefits of brushes over sponges! They also hold their shape pretty well and don't have problems with discoloration. We don't have a dishwasher and use our brushes fairly rigorously. Plus, we cook with a lot of turmeric and beets, which could easily dye the ordinarily white brush pink. These brushes keep their shape and color well. They discolor a little, but are right back to their prestige white after a couple of uses. Overall, they're of good quality! Sometimes the plastic doesn't connect perfectly and soap leaches out of the sides or a piece of plastic breaks at the head and the replacement brushes don't fit on quite right. We had one where we had to keep supergluing the brush back on. But a little extra soap never hurt! All things considered, they're good quality. Like everything that you use regularly, you're going to have to replace them every couple years. They're inexpensive enough, though, and that that isn't a problem. They're the best brushes that I've used and we have no problem replacing them every once in a while. We've been using them for probably a decade now and have only had to buy 3 or so bases. The brushes you have to buy once a year, but they usually come in packs of two, so that's not too bad. Definitely recommend.
This little scrubber is so handy. I had been using the rectangular sponges with one side that's rougher, but this is infinitely better at scrubbing away crusty eggs and such because it has the bristles and a smooth plastic scraper tool on the brush head to really get at the stuck-on stuff. My arms, wrists, and hands are grateful. I've had it for 3+ months, and it's going strong. I like that there are replaceable brush heads too, so it's not all going into the landfill when it gets worn out, but so far, I haven't needed to think about replacing the head. It's more expensive than other similar scrubbers with the built-in soap dispenser, but the bristles are so much more effective than the rough sponges and more durable IMO, and when I've used those other ones with the built-in dispenser, I've had trouble with them leaking soap also. Worth the extra few bucks, and you'll probably save money in the future because this will last longer. I'm tempted to buy a bunch of these as gifts for the holidays because they're just perfect.
I love this scrubber brush, as it works great. However this is my third one so far. I have to replace these about once a year as the button to dispense the soap will ultimately split allowing either soap to leak out or making the brush unusable unless the handle is totally filled do to the extra air getting in from the split. Reading other reviews this is a very common problem with this device. However the device works great when its not broken and for the price, I don't mind getting a new one every year.
I have a kitchenaid version of this, and it was getting a little worn so I thought I would replace it with the same thing. I bought one of these as a gift for a colleagues wedding, and thought I'd give it a try. I love it, and am happy I made the switch. This holds more soap than the kitchenaid, and when since it has a twist top, soap doesn't spray everywhere when I close it, like the kitchenaid does. The bristles also feel like they are higher quality than the kitchenaid one as well. I'll get oxo from now on!
I have been really impressed with this handy little brush! The soap dispenser is a great idea and wastes less soap when washing big items on their own, especially when my 12-year old daughter is using it. The bristles are softer and longer than my vegetable scrubber, but rather than making it less effective, that actually helps it reach better into nooks and crannies, and I don't have to worry about it harming my pretty vintage dishes. It also has a scraper at the top which is helpful in removing stuck-on food.
I balked at spending so much on a dish brush but for all the cleaning I do, this thing was WORTH IT. I use one for my dishes and sink and one for my bathtub. That’s right, it is sturdy enough to scrub a tub and shower stall. I fill it with Dawn dish soap and after I shower, I scrub everything down and it keeps everything so nice. Even after my Pipefitter boyfriend who can get extremely dirty on the job leaves like an inch of grease and Lord knows what else in the tub, I just use this guy and it works great. I take the brush head off and run it through the sanitizing cycle on the dishwasher and we’re good to go. I’m super impressed.
This brush is the only one I’ve used for the past 5 years. One handle lasts me about 18 months, the brushes last 4-8 months depending on usage. There is no soap leakage through the valve when the brush is sitting with the valve down in my sink for long periods of time (most brushes I’ve used in the past struggle with this.) They changed the design of the fill 2 or 3 years ago which makes this brush more convenient to fill. It used to fill in the middle of the handle at the thumb pad which required a bit of coordination, now the end of the handle twists off and the soap goes in the end. My only gripe is the black rubber grip goes all the way to the end of the handle... when you’re filling it it’s hard to tell when your getting close and I occasionally overfill and some soap spills out. All told, this is a great device that helps me keep my sink empty and my dishes clean and in the cabinets where they belong.
I absolutely love this product! I’m not a fan of sponges, the smell, the texture etc. when I was scrolling on amazon and found this I was very excited to try it and it did not disappoint! I love easy soap dispenser, not getting my hands wet, and the brushes really get the food off. This also is great because it does not leak. Would definitely recommend if your looking for an alternative to a sponge!
Best scrub brush out there! Consistently cleans tough messes with very little “elbow grease” and the bristle brush rinses clean as opposed to the sponge brushes that seem to absorb the grime. Easy to refill. Soap easily dispenses when scrubbing with a simple push on the handle button and delivers the right amount of soap every time!
We love this brush. We use it to wash dishes, clean counters and any other item that needs cleaning with Dawn. This is our second brush -- the first one last us several years with lots of use and in the end the soap started leaking leaving a mess, but I highly recommend this brush for your many cleaning needs.
This is the best made of all the dish scrubbers that dispense soap. It stays together, unlike others that I've tried. Holds quite a bit of soap and you don't fill it the wonky way other scrubbers are filler, awkwardly by the brush. This fills from the top of the handle and it is a screw on cap so it doesn't squirt out duh soap when you are closing. I've tried 4-5 different types-both brush and sponge, with a handle and palm held. This one is the only one I'd buy again-in fact I did to give one to my daughter!
This soap dispensing brush is awesome! As described the handle has a great grip and doesn't slip out of your hand while washing. Its very easy to fill up with soap and dispenses the right amount each pump. I cleaned an entire rack of dishes with ease and convenience. The brush is the perfect size to clean big pots with stuck on messes and still fits into any size cup for hard to reach edges. Once the brush is worn the head unclips easy for a fresh new refill. I definitely recommend this soap dispensing brush!
I enjoy washing dishes now, nothing like other soap scrubbers that are similar. Everything about it is great and the scrub part comes off if you like to sanitize in the dishwasher without having to deal with the soap inside the handle, and it doesn’t spill out. You can also replace just the scrubber heads so it saves on a little bit of plastic use over time😊
Absolutely the best dish brush ever! I love that the head can be removed and run through the dishwasher to sterilize it. That feature alone makes this so worth the money because it triples or quadrupled the life of your brush. It’s the only one I buy! Period!
